Wharton Net Impact facilitates MBA students’ contribution to innovation at the cusp of business and society. We promote social impact careers and raise awareness of critical issues among the MBA community.

Wharton Social Impact Management Conference a Big Success!

Thank you to all who made The Wharton Social Impact Management Conference on January 14, 2005 a huge success!
With over 250 attendees, the conference brought together high profile leaders from a range of sectors including international development, microfinance, socially responsible investing, and nonprofit management.

2005 International Development Career Trek

The 2005 International Development Career Trek met with 20 firms & organizations over 2 days in Washington D.C.
Congratulations to the organizing team. Current students interested in careers in international development should look forward to the 2006 Trek.
Participating firms included:
Development Banks (Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank); Private Equity in Emerging Markets Funds (Darby Overseas Investments, Emerging Markets Partnership, and a Private Equity in Emerging Markets panel); U.S. Agencies (US Agency for International Development, US Overseas Private Investment Corporation) Microfinance Institutions (Millennium Challenge Account, panel on Microfinance); Development Consulting firms.

Net Impact Resume Book Distributed
